Magic dust particles

Heylo! The top two pictures here are of the friendship garden the kids and I did. The bottom one is a giant butterfly I started to fix...I wish I could show you the final product it was pretty magical! The weather has been amazing, I know exactly what Scot was talking about. This wind that just feels like God's breath granting a million and one wishes to your soul. I have returned to the usual, "Iris can I punch that kid in the face?" but also the wonderful smiles and eye twinkles.
Sierra, that girl sounds amazing! Is she just traveling around New Zealand? What has been your favorite part so far? Are you so excited! I am soooooooo excited for you!
I am not sure what my plans are for this summer. I may work at a jewish summer camp in yosemite or I may travel to Thailand and Vietnam and that whole region and slowly make my way back to Nepal in September where I will work at the Children's home with Maggie.

Hello Hello Ms. Iris Thank you so much for dedicting some of your busy time to the blog. It's great to here from you and so amzing so see pictures of your kids and your work. It also gave me such a wonderful laugh seeing your UNIFORM. haha...if there was one thing in this world you would point at and say I'd never wear I think it would be that outfit...haha

That girl was really cool! she went back to auckland where she lives. she told me about this spiritual community called Findhorn in Scotland that we both my go to. She was dancing all crazy at this concert we went to and in doing that met a yoga teacher who was also dancing crazy. They went out on a day trip togeather. The yoga teacher/life coach had the girl do a piece of art. The girl is so into art now. I told her that's a great idea cause it can really help you explore yourself. Do you have any recommendations for her.

The most exciting part so far... hmmm I think it was when I got off the plane and realized how vibrant the color of everything is here. I love how bright the blues are, how bright green the trees are. Just sitting on the beach has been pretty amazing too. Seeing where I was living---basically in a mouse hut was amusing. I watched a lot of jazz shows and got to dance freely with the new zealanders which was also a very eye opening experience. I ride the bike around almost everyday now which has been fun. I want to do some crazy river rafting on the buller river which should be fun and some mountain biking around abel tasman since its so close.

This summer....man summer camp of traveling huh. I was hoping we could explore the california wilderness togeather. Hike all over the crazy mountains and beautiful scenery we have there :)

Thanks so much for writing Ms. Iris. it made my day to see those pictures of you. Does it feel really good to be helping others each day?

I love the pictures Iris. How are the plants doing? You seem at peace with yourself when with the kids.
Love,
